WHATSAPP is testing a brand new look for a key part of the app.
The trial is taking place for iPhones – and changes the look of your chat list.
WhatsApp constantly makes changes to the app.
But before you get the changes, WhatsApp will test them in the "beta" app.
This is a trial version of the app that users sign up to, where WhatsApp can test features on a smaller number of users first.
Well-respected WhatsApp site WABetaInfo regularly mines this app to uncover new features.
And the latest is a redesign of the chat list on iPhone.
"WhatsApp is planning to make the chats list very clean," said WABetaInfo.

WhatsApp will warn you if friends are talking about you – here's how it works
"And to do that, they need to remove certain UI elements.
"In particular, they are planning to remove the row where you can open your broadcast lists and create new groups."
These are options that have existed in the chat list for years – but may soon move for all users.
It shouldn't be a problem to move New Group, because there's already an option to make new chats in the top-right of the app.
Broadcast will be slightly harder to find, however.
Instead, you'll be able to tap it when you choose the Start New Chat option.
And there'll be a button for it in your Contacts List too.
In any case, this is just a test – so WhatsApp may decide to scrap the idea.
But it's possible that this new look could roll out to all users in the near future.
How to get WhatsApp beta
To download WhatsApp beta for your smartphone you need to go to Google Play on your Android and search for WhatsApp.
Scroll down the page until you see "Become a Beta Tester".
Tap the "I'm In" button and then click "Join" to confirm.
Now all you have to do is wait for the update to the beta version of the app.
Joining the WhatsApp beta on iPhone is more difficult, and has limited capacity.
