A HORRIFYING video shows the moment an SUV driver puts multiple lives at risk with a risky overtake.

Kevin Simpson from Hull caught the bad driving on a dashcam from inside his motorhome, which took place on a remote road in Scotland.

The video starts with the motorhome making its way along an A-road which is passing through moorland.

The weather is awful with lashing rain and howling wind, plus there's a lot of standing water on the road.

As soon as the traffic on the other side has passed and the motorhome has crossed a narrow bridge, a Land Rover Discovery Sport comes into view on the righthand side.

Clearly bored of waiting behind the motorhome, the Land Rover flies up the road dragging a caravan behind it.

Up ahead is a blind bend veering off to the right, but unbelievably the Land Rover driver goes to overtake the VW too.

There's so much wind and rain you can barely make out the caravan as it sways from side to side.

As the Land Rover driver violently veers to the left around the Golf, the caravan isn't far from clipping the front of the VW – forcing the Golf driver to brake hard.

The caravan snakes again as the Land Rover steers right around the bend and it looks as if it will topple over.

It manages to stay upright and the Land Rover screams off up the road through the storm.

Kevin told the Daily Record: "We were taking it easy because of the bad cross winds on that stretch of the A82.

"That bridge is tight when you meet a car coming the other way.

"I always let cars coming the other way pass, there's always wing mirrors on the road there.

"He tried to overtake just before the waterfall, too, but pulled in at the last minute."
